The guys at Qlockwork (that’s us!) are celebrating the launch of their new product – Qlockwork Pro – this week.
CEO Anne Currie says, “within 24 hours, nearly 10% of our customers had upgraded to the new “Pro” version and we’ve had great feedback so far. We offer a free trial, but our first buyers didn’t even wait to try it out before buying! We’re really happy with the response.”
“Pro” builds on Qlockwork, their popular existing time tracking application for Outlook. Like Qlockwork, “Pro” talks directly to Windows to find out what users are working on and then creates real-time activity logs in Outlook.
With the Pro version, users can choose the level of tracking granularity, monitoring their tasks down to 2, 5, 6 or 10 minute periods. This is ideal for professionals such as accountants or lawyers, who break down their time reporting in specific intervals.
Qlockwork Pro also offers scheduled reporting, sending reports of how time was spent, on a daily or weekly basis.
In another enhancement, Qlockwork Pro allows users to automatically include activities from another Outlook calendar in their time reports, making it easy to account for time spent in meetings or on scheduled phone calls.
CEO Anne Currie says that Qlockwork Pro features have been added in response to demand. “Our users have been reporting significant increases in productivity by using Qlockwork, but they have also been very helpful in telling us what would make it even more useful. By adding a Pro version with the most often requested enhancements, we’re able to offer extra features to those who need them, while still keeping a low-cost option for users who only need Qlockwork’s core time-tracking capabilities.”
